With that warning, a mysterious man in black puts Gordon, Gus, Sierra and Holly on notice: If they value their lives, they'll stay far away from Spruce Mountain Resort. But things are no safer in the creepy old Hotel Hudson, where the girls' own room holds danger and the ghosts of lecherous gangsters and enraged aristocrats hide around every corner. What started as a school ski trip with sing-alongs and flirting on the bus may end in a suffocating snowdrift or blinding blizzard, if the menacing white wolf doesn't get them first. And what about the handsome secret agent lurking in the lobby or the news crew in the basement, who are clearly searching for more than a story? Gordon and his friends have their work cut out for them this time, following a trail of clues littered with sinister specters, broken hearts and broken bones.
