Being chronically ill is like being sick all the time, but still pushing through life, watching everybody else's life go by. Although we try to live normal lives, and look to the future and make plans, sometimes our health has different plans for us. As her health's marionette, Lyla Morales sits back as her friends and family's lives carry on with milestones and accomplishments. She struggles with stabilizing her health for years along with trying to continue a normal life with everyone around her. Not every life is easy, but it's her life to push through.
