Arryn is a princess, but more importantly a General commander, of the Northern Nobles in Libidine. Her handmaid Karina takes care of her in more ways than one while her father, the king, consistently undermines her authority. But when her suggested plan fails, her father tries to endanger her, and Karina goes missing, she must go to the place she dreads the most: The Barrow. Tensions flare, but so do passions.
