Sometimes Arty has a bad day, but this magic sketchbook always provides a positive and transformative escape from the real world.
Arty's character represents all young children that love to use visual art as a way to escape, express, and communicate how they view their world. The end of story will inspire the reader to create a more colorful world.

After working many years as an educator, Hansen created the "Magic Sketchbook" as a safe place for kids to see the power of creativity.
