Asta, a very inquisitive mouse that lives behind the stove, introduces himself to the new resident house cat, Miss Pineapple. He learns there is a very important rule about living on the farm that all have to abide by. As time goes by, Asta and Miss Pineapple become very close friends although Asta has to work hard at getting Miss Pineapple to do things with and for him. Since Miss Pineapple is a cat, in the back of Asta's mind is the thought that Miss Pineapple may may very well eat him!
This is the first in a series and you will follow Asta and Miss Pineapple as they encounter other characters that live on the farm. Lessons are earned in all the books with one main lesson being, just because you are different, doesn't mean you can't be friends.
