Alex Novak (Ortiz) is a twenty-six year old creative with a passion for writing. Her interest in writing, specifically poetry, started around the age of twelve.
Alex is an advocate for mental health awareness and uses her writing to aid in having open discussions around mental health. In her first collection of poetry, she grapples with anxiety, depression, and grief while reflecting on how those emotions can live alongside joy, hope, and tranquility.
This raw and intense collection is accompanied by illustrations from the emerging and passionate Margaret (Magchi) Terzieva, a young Bulgarian creative with a talent for graphic and interior design.
