In 2012, as the summer heat descends upon New York City, the recently out bisexual and neurotic hypochondriac Ben (Matthew Fifer) embarks on a series of emotionless one-night stands with men and women. As he continues to slip further away from his sense of self, Ben develops an unlikely friendship with Sam (Sheldon D. Brown), a Black data analyst. Yet as the intensity of their friendship transforms into lust and love, both Ben and Sam must overcome complex personal issues if their romance is to endure. Matthew Fifer and Kieran Mulcare co-direct this interracial gay romantic drama.
