An ex- intelligence officer uncovers a nefarious plot between government and private industry to accelerate the growth of the Prison Industrial Complex. His girlfriend's murder provokes him into action. He gathers a team of highly skilled experts and friends determined to expose or stop this evil conspiracy and to give him revenge. JB is the owner of a marketing firm and the ex-intelligence officer. On holiday, his girlfriend discloses an overview of the secret scheme. She also tells him about the unholy alliance between the world's largest business syndicate and the White House, which is intended to increase profits and political gains. The program is code-named Cobalt Mandate. After her death, the team, which is profoundly experienced in intelligence, politics and reporting, use their talents to launch an investigation. With the help of influential connections, the crew quickly realizes the plan is active. The highly ambitious and deeply corrupt hostile leader apprehends she must stop them before theirscrutiny reveals too much. Attacks and murders harden the group's resolve to stop the destructive agenda. The vicious opposition constantly erects barriers. However, the group overcomes all challenges. When they have collected enough data to expose Cobalt Mandate, the enemy strikes back with aggressive force. Both sides declare war. The ten novels of the Prison Industrial Complex set are all fictional. However, the author's intention was to use the action thriller genre as a means to emphasize the developments of the Prison Industrial Complex that have occurred since its inception in 1973. Over the past three decades (1982-2012) the trends, concepts and policies depicted in this series have and still exist. The author has taken liberty with facts to illustrate the extreme accelerated rate in which we have criminalized behavior; expended billions to achieve harsher results; but, have not changed the crime rate. I beseech every reader to become more aware of the threat the Prison Industrial Complex represents to our nation.
