Dan or charity has been accepted as a major part of all the religions. The importance , method and results of Dan have been described in all the Hindu old texts like Vedas, Puranas, Upnishads Mahabharata etc. in detail. In the present book, various types of donations, method of donating, time of donating, place to donate, eligibility to accept the donation etc. have been widely discussed. In the end, it has been written about some eminent donors of India who are our source of inspiration.
