The second book of our three book series find, the Patterson Family Dancers adding another couple. During auditions, a homeless girl applies and is select as the girl dancer. Conflict arises when the boy winner*s mother doesn't want him to associate with homeless children. The group changes their name. They chose the name of Desamparados, after the area of Alajuela where they live.
