Barry and Rebecca fly to California to help old friend and movie producer Tama Wu keep a script vicious super agent Malika Screed is trying to steal. Barry and Rebecca's son visits and is kidnapped by old nemesis Dr. Alexi Orloff, who was presumed dead. He invites Rebecca to dine with her son in Dubai. If she refuses, her son may die. If she accepts, she risks dying as well. Meanwhile her marriage to Barry is unraveling. The action starts in California, jumps to the Middle East, and ends in Europe, the pace never faltering.
