Discipleship in 40 Nutshells - Leaders Guide is designed to assist Pastors and Bible Study Leaders as they lead/preach the discipleship and stewardship principles that are expressed in the Discipleship in 40 Nutshells devotional book by the same author. This Leaders Guide encourages and motivates Christians to experience a deeper understanding of their role as disciples, and includes:
-Six full weeks (42 days) of daily devotionals on many topics for individual Bible studies. -This Leaders Guide includes much additional material for church leaders and pastors to use in developing more responsive stewardship disciples. -Five Bible study books in one volume! The devotionals are grouped into five major sections, with eight devotionals in each grouping (plus two extra days). -Each of these five major sections are collected around a common theme and can be used as a stand-alone Bible study series of eight weeks each. The other sections can be used as additional Bible studies at other times, or all five sections can be studied consecutively. -A sermon series guide is included that identifies several specific closely-connected devotionals that are ideal for pastors to use when preaching their series of sermons on discipleship and stewardship. More than 42 sermons are possible herein. Dr. Hallett has been in ministry since 1962. In 1985 he transitioned from a pastoral ministry to ministry as a Church Stewardship Consultant. He is currently President of TLC Ministries, which he founded in 1990, where their motto is "developing more responsive stewardship disciples." He received his DMin degree from Liberty University, having also studied at Asbury Theological Seminary (MDiv) and Indiana Wesleyan University (BA). He and the TLC team have worked with over 300 churches of many traditions, raising over $300 Million for church facilities. He and Carol, his wife of over 50 years, live in Hartford City, Indiana.
