But the new world has not been without its perils as Billy and his friends have just barely escaped the clutches of the Dragon of Death and learned of a betrayal from someone they trusted. That betrayal leads to Billy's friend Dylan being kidnapped and taken through a time portal. Now Billy, Charlotte, and Ling-Fei must travel through time on their dragons to save Dylan.
