MOM'S SICK. WYNDHAM MIGHT BE DEAD.
JAYDEN HAS A FEW PROBLEMS.
Worry over money has plagued Jayden's parents. Then one night, she overhears something worse: Mom has cancer. When Jayden's long-time friend, Wyndham the Knight, invites her to visit for the first time, she sprints towards the opportunity to meet the knight and his dragon. In Canonsland, Jayden's greeted warmly by Wyndham's family. Not to mention, the scenery of green meadows and blue-leafed weeping willows, isn't bad either.
All in all, Canonsland is the perfect escape location for Jayden to get away from her problems at home. Or, so it seems. But then one day, a Hunter, Osgoode, arrives in Rumbling Town, carrying a message that his people are on the cusp of a civil war. Wyndham, wishing to help, leaves with Osgoode in the hopes he can avoid further bloodshed. One week later, Wyndham, still hasn't returned.
Frustrated, Jayden, Laurence, Bob the Dog, and the dragon embark on a rescue mission to find their lost knight. Before long, though, the foursome realizes that there's a more tangled plot that's been sewn together by Lord Fulke: a plan that plays on history, fears, and old and new weapons. The only way to win the battle against Lord Fulke is to come together as a family, city, and world.
Can they do it before it's too late?
