Yeah, well, that was me when I "accidentally" listened to my next-door neighbor have sex through the very thin wall that separated our apartments. It wasn't my fault- they were loud. Like really, really loud. And I was desperate. Okay- desperate might have been a bit dramatic, but I had a deadline, and my editor was down my back, demanding that I do something to make my sex scenes steamier- as if I knew what that was anymore.
After a rough breakup, I'd hit a low. Almost as low as you could get. Writing love stories was hard enough, but adding in unbridled passion and lust was impossible. But when I heard the natural moans of pleasure drifting into my apartment, I couldn't help myself.
