Fragmented Reality Part 1: Domino Effect
is based on events that occurred to me the fall of 2023. For about a year, my mind was under a lot of duress over an experience that led to catastrophic consequences in my mental health.
This experience has a name we are all too familiar with: Unrequited love or unrequited passion. Unrequited empathy and compassion. We all have experienced this same pain at least once in our lifetime. I was caught in the middle of a very bizarre and toxic marital or relationship dynamic. A man I thought I could trust ended up using me for his own gratification. The woman in question was so passive to my painful experience her indifference to the events I endured was in itself very traumatic to witness. That led me to come to very dark conclusions about their relationship...or lack thereof?
My story alongside my poems ( or unorganized literary thoughts as I like to call some of my essays ) are meant to resonate with those who feel things very intensely. It is meant to resonate with those who have been wronged and never got a true sense of justice, but still manage to find victory in their own inner strength to create beauty out of chaos. I welcome you into my world of sublime thoughts.
