Laura enjoys many styles of painting and uses a variety of materials along with different processes of working. Geodes is a result of her love of mixed media. Her abstract ink and resin paintings have evolved from years of experimentation with an elixir of inks, pigment, paints and resin used on a variety of substrates. Its a meditative process, and from this artistic science experiment comes images resembling geodes, human cells, irises or sea life.
