The crying drives everyone crazy, but Andreas insists that baby Daniela must be left alone so she can learn who is boss. His wife, Esme is afraid to argue with him because she wants to escape to university but Andreas is determined to control her. They love their child but start to use the baby as a pawn in the fight between them. Gradually things blow out of control in ways they have not foreseen.
