Gwenda didn't fit that profile. In crimes that have taken place over the previous decade, the murder committed by Gwenda Sloane didn't garner as much attention as some others of a similar time period. If this story had taken place in the U.S., this would have undoubtedly been one of the biggest stories for its time period and it would have gotten airplay on all of the networks. But the lack of international media attention around the case doesn't make the crime any less tragic. This crime was one of unimaginable circumstance and truly heartless actions.
