Following the attack on Pearl Harbor during World War II, lieutenant colonel Jimmy Doolittle (Vincent Riotta) leads a bombing mission in Tokyo during which young pilot Jack Turner (Emile Hirsch) was forced to bail out due to a fuel shortage.
