Eliza Webb isn't thrilled to be working the same retail job she had in high school yet again at twenty-six. But to keep her handmade soap business afloat-and get out from under her reputation as a hot mess express-she needs the temporary job.
Unfortunately, she'll have to work with her boss's starchy accountant son. Dean Irwin is usually stuck in his corporate office crunching numbers, but for some reason, he's down on the sales floor with her. Worse, she has to train him. His icy stares and better-than-you attitude remind Eliza why she swore off ruthless businessmen years ago. She'll just have to ignore how annoyingly attractive he is, and the way he makes her heart go haywire the longer they work together.
Dean is better with numbers than people, but his father's convinced he needs a refresher course on salesmanship. With a big promotion on the line, he's resigned himself to a month on the sales floor, but didn't take into account working in close quarters with Eliza Webb. She's loud, brash, has all the people skills he lacks-and is utterly irresistible.
If Dean hopes to win Eliza over, he'll have to prove that somewhere beneath his stoic exterior, he has a heart after all-and it belongs to her.
