Holy Warrior/Afghani Peril depicts the growing threat of Militant Islamic Fundamentalism and emerging Jihad against the west. It chronicles US missteps and lack of foresight, the bumbling of Carter administration to recognize the threat or even the consequences of its own actions amid the increasing military draw-down and depletion of its assets. Once again Barton Webber and the CIA is drawn into the void to combat threats to America. Webber is one by one reunited with the team members as he sees the need for their services and their uniting against a common and real threat. He finds new allies and goes to battle a long way from home.
