How Sweet It Was is Chaneice's second self-published collection of writing. Using her personal experiences and her love for writing, she comprised another part of her journey for those with like minds to explore. This collection focuses on a range of experiences and emotions; grief, spirituality, love, resentment, mental health, addiction, healing, happiness, and finding yourself again. How Sweet It Was came from rebuilding life after loss, picking the pieces back up, and learning to give oneself grace.
