This original audio recording of this television holiday classic tells the story of how the calculating, bitter Grinch tries to take Christmas away from the endlessly perky Whos down in Whoville. He makes a Santa Claus suit, uses his dog Max as a reindeer, and sneaks into Whoville and steals all the gifts, decorations, and food he can find. When Christmas morning comes and the Whos are just as happy without their presents and roast beast, the Grinch realizes Christmas is a state of mind, not just a gift-giving, feasting occasion.
