"I Thrive Out of Spite"
is a collection of poems based on the author's personal experiences over four years. Jasper covers his experiences as a disabled queer person, as well as the transition from a teenager to a young adult. Spanning two abusive relationships, multiple moves, a major surgery, and a suicide attempt, the content is dark, raw, and vulnerable, but has a message of hope and growth.
