This documentary takes an in-depth look at artist James Castle, who was born in rural Idaho in 1899 completely deaf. Spending his days as a miner on his family's property, Castle also nurtured a rich creative side, with his drawings and sculptures eventually becoming valuable and respected additions to both the artistic and deaf community.
