A French musical exploring two formative periods of a young girl named Jeanette (Lise Leplat Prudhomme, and later Jeanne Voisin), who grows up to become the Catholic saint known as Joan of Arc. As a child in the 1400s, Jeanette first hears her heavenly calling to fight for her people, who are resisting invasion by the English during the Hundred Years' War. Directed by Bruno Dumont.
