These eclectic biographical essays were independently written by each author but interconnect through shared settings, interests and characters. Nature in general and animals in particular inspired some of these accounts, while family and life transitions gave shape to others; most of them have previously appeared in Neighbors, a free bi-monthly publication from Ashford, Connecticut.Delia Berlin and David Corsini are retired educators who reside in eastern Connecticut. They have been married for over thirty years, during which they lived in three different houses. When not otherwise occupied, Delia writes bilingual children's books and David produces three-dimensional assemblages from found materials.
