German artist Katharina Grosse (born 1961) presents a recent series of 15 large-scale studio paintings in her signature abstract and gestural style. The artist's colorful swirls and bundles of twirling paint lines are like excerpts from a larger movement, amplified beyond her bodily reach by the use of a spray gun.
