The world is dying and half of Earth's population has deserted it to start a new life on a new planet, and Kiani is determined to be one of them. With her best friends, Derrick and Sam, by her side, Kiani sets out to journey to Russia, where the last launching pad is located. Everything is running smoothly, until mayhem strikes. Ambushed by a group of Bandits, the unsavory civilians of society who wish to make the abandoned Earth their new Kingdom, Sam is gravely injured and kidnapped by the Boss and Kiani is faced with a hard decision: Save a potentially dead friend and risk missing the last ship or keep moving on with her quest?
After months of traveling, Kiani and Derrick's little group has grown and Kiani's main focus is now the safety of her companions, but Derrick can't shake the feeling that Sam is alive. Thrown into a game full of riddles and death, and torn over whether to search for their lost friend or keep going, Kiani's and Derrick's friendship is tested for the first time in their lives.
