The fun and touching story of Larry the Leaf. Written to appeal to 3 - 6 year old children, 'Larry
The Last Leaf',
is designed to counter the effects of external negativity and the impact it can have, creating fear of the unknown in children. It chronicles his story from the fun times of summer, through the realization that summer is coming to an end. He grapples with the stories he hears of how fall and winter can be 'bad' for the foliage on the trees.
In the end he comes to learn that fall and winter provided new opportunities to, if you will pardon the pun, 'branch' out. He has new adventures blowing in the wind with friends from place to place. From the time that we are born there are voices imploring us to do our best and at the same time other voices cautioning us against failure. All too often the voices of caution can turn into fear, keeping a child from reaching their full potential.
