London Jihadi Takedown: Islamic State Nuclear Apocalypse is the frenetic sequel to Blitz Iran, continuing the story of ex-Special Forces trooper Mike Braddon and his sidekick CarlNichols, who after their stint in Iraq and Iran are now back on home ground facing both a bio and a nuclear nightmare. As Hezbollah have done in the past with al-Qaeda, its operatives put their religious differences to one side, joining forces with Islamic State jihadis against a shared enemy, supplying weapons for a series of deadly attacks in the UK, acquired through an Albanian mafia's smuggling operation. Racing against time, Mike and Carl end up on the trail of both the Hezbollah and Islamic State operatives, in a frantic bid to bring down sleeper cells the two groups have set up in the UK. Having arrived back in England from a blood-soaked campaign against illegal "black" targets in Iran, which had turned awry on them, Mike and Carl already have a series of hit teams on their trail. Laying low in a seedy district of London, they soon find their identities have been wiped from government computers, and with their bank accounts mysteriously emptied, they are forced to take up employment with London gangster Scot Mercer. Falling out with Mercer, they find their only chance of getting out of the mess they are in, is through their old OC in the Para's, Major Christian Mason. Having connections deep in the murky heart of the British military establishment, Major Mason had been acting as the two men's' handler for the special operations they had conducted in the Gulf. After being contacted by Major Mason, Mike and Carl are promised false passports and papers, and money to start a new life, as long as they carry out a series of black ops and false flags in the capital. With no other option left open to them, the two men take up their handler's offer, and soon turn the streets of London into their own private battleground' Then after getting involved in an armed assault on a shopping mall, in which Islamic State jihadis use both machetes and automatic rifles against shoppers, fate finally catches up with Mike and Carl, and the hunters soon become the hunted. Then with IS extremists about to carry out a bio attack using the so-called "Doomsday Virus", which is a mixture of ebola and smallpox, which had been produced in a secret laboratory in Pakistan, and secreted in cans of hairspray, the pair set out to avert an attack on the London Underground. But not only is a bio attack on the cards, it later becomes apparent that a nuclear attack is soon to take place in the centre of London, set up by a disaffected Hezbollah commander, and coordinated to swiftly follow this, yet another nuclear disaster looms in Northern England, arranged by IS commanders, which ends with a catastrophic armed assault on a nuclear processing plant.
