The Teatro Massimo mounted this elaborate production of Arrigo Boito's opera +Mefistofele in Palermo, in January 2008. Ferruccio Furlanetto, Giuseppe Filianoti, Dimitra Theodossiou and Stefano Ranzani headline the production, while Giancarlo Del Monaco directs and Cesc Gelabert choreographs. The Orchestra, Chorus, Corps de Ballet and Children's Chorus of Teatro Massimo provide musical accompaniment. The composer originally adapted the work from Goethe's Faust.
