Whether you choose to share your poems, hoard them in a secret journal or hidden box as a treasure, they are still an expression of the soul.
Poetry, as an expression of the emotional palette, can describe moments of great joy or the depths of sadness, the exquisite torment of unrequited infatuation or the pleasure of total acceptance,
the accolades of a hero or a loved one, or the simplest description of an everyday act.
Poetry can act as a catharsis or release of the inner self.
The universality of themes in poetry almost guarantees that the words used and images revealed will resonate with the reader on some cosmic level. In "Memories of a Life Unknown," I want you to wonder if thoughts and feelings, or actual events, led to the creation of the poems.
