The words and phrases we use are so important to the well-being of our seniors, and the ways in which we motivate them. The language we use needs to paint a compelling picture of our events, so our residents are almost waiting in the halls for the ultimate boredom buster! (Assisted Living Professionals are even being audited on their use of language!) It can be frustrating, time consuming and flat out annoying to not be able to come up with the word or expression you want, at the moment you need it. This book was written to be a reference tool; a compilation of words and expressions to make it easier for Activity Professionals to get senior community residents up and active!
