But when zombies mysteriously show up on her shores, the introverted, socially awkward witch winds up waist-deep in a necromantic conspiracy that threatens the balance between life and death. Halloween is in full-swing the entire month of October on Frye Island, drawing way too many unsuspecting mortals to the town while the population of undead rises as well. As if that we're enough, Briar is forced to start breaking the Arcana Guild Covent left and right when she's forced to team up with a monstrous reaper and a lust demon. Who just so happen to be her mates. Zombies, death magic, and unholy bonds abound in Frye Island culminating on All Hallows Eve. And to defeat them, Briar's going to have to embrace a darker path that will claim her soul forever.
