He has a younger sister, Lisa. Craig and Lisa have lost their family through death. They have been taken in by distant relatives but it is not a happy situation. 'Uncle Pete', in particular, gives them a hard time. Young people whose families have broken up through other reasons may still recognise the difficulties Craig and Lisa have in settling down with a substitute parent they don't get on with.
