On the Beach at Turtle Bay is primarily the story of Bob Downing, a Union activist and parcel carrier. The reader will follow Bob, who thinks he's making a smart career choice by becoming a full-time officer in the National Association of Parcel Carriers. Bob instead becomes tangled in the wrongdoings of Nickolas James, Local Branch President.
