In this report, the authors outline approaches to developing an artificial intelligence (AI)–focused research hub in Jackson, Mississippi. The analysis draws on a scoping literature review and interviews with key stakeholders. By combining information about existing needs in the AI research space with existing research and technology capabilities in Mississippi, the authors derive a suite of options for a research hub in the state.
