When Galen Rogers became a time travel researcher, he figured his travels would be pretty calm. Travel in, observe, make notes, and return to the chamber. When the decision was made that the chamber needed to be upgraded, all travelers were brought home. What nobody expected was an earthquake to hit at a crucial point in the chamber transition. Galen was working on one of the electronics components when it hit, and the chamber decided it wanted to send Galen back in time…400 years. Back to the old west of the 1880s.
