When he is finally released from prison after serving a 20-year sentence for participating in a brutal crime when he was 18, Chris (Jay Duplass) develops a close relationship with his former high-school teacher Carol (Edie Falco). As he tries to adjust to the outside world, Chris deals with his romantic feelings for Carol and bonds with the latter's teenage daughter (Kaitlyn Dever). Directed by Lynn Shelton.
