Pacey is back in Arbroath, Scotland, visiting her aunt and uncle and promising to be on her best behaviour, no scrapes like on her last holiday! This time, she is on her own, and while she tries her hardest to stay out of trouble, visits to the local caves, once used for secret Masonic meetings, and the historic abbey, where the Declaration of Arbroath was signed, ignite her vivid imagination.
