After a multitude of battles resulting in both victories and defeats, the human demon Sharim is at large in the world. Jez and his allies have the managed to hold their own, but that is about to change as Sharim calls up a demonic army the likes of which the world has never known. Jez and his friends must use ancient and lost magics as their enemy drives them into increasingly desperate situations. War brings the need for great sacrifices, but even that may not be enough.
