Mounted in 2010 to simultaneously commemorate the 150th Anniversary of Gustav Mahler's birth, conductor-composer Pierre Boulez's 85th birthday, and Boulez's 45th year with the Cleveland Orchestra, this classical performance film finds Boulez doing a Mahler-only set at Ohio's Severance Hall. Selections include: the Adagio from the unfinished Tenth Symphony, and twelve lieder from +Des Knaben Wunderhorn, interpreted by solo vocalists Christian Gerhaher and Magdalena Ko¿ená.
