In this adventure saga, animal trapper Harry Stanton (Robert Mitchum) is commissioned to bring back an exotic jungle cat by a West German zoo. He travels to the wilds of Malaysia and employs the local guide Talib (Sabu) to aid in the quest. The duo hooks up with legendary big game hunter Otto Abbot (Jack Hawkins) and his saucy mistress Anna (Elsa Martinelli).
