A soft washable rug with an extraordinarily comfortable pile, its lightness and foldability makes washing easy. The Sofya rug has a distressed taupe border filled with sprawling leafy tendrils. Soft as wool with a very subtle silk-like sheen, our polyester is highly durable, OEKO-TEX certified for safety, mildew-resistant, and machine-washable. In this piece, it's combined with a cotton backing that's both strong and supple. Cotton, a vegetable fiber, is widely used across rug traditions because of its sturdiness and longevity.

- - Power-loomed low pile: about .23" thick (6mm)
- - 100% recycled polyester on cotton backing, OEKO-TEX certified
- - Slight variations in size to be expected.
- - When it's time for a deeper clean, machine wash on delicate with like colors and 1 TBSP unscented, clear detergent. Line dry.
- - For sizes 5'x8' and above, use a commercial washing machine.
- - For sizes 9'x12' and up, spot clean.
