"And God said, let us make man. So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them" (Genesis 1:26-27). There was a reshaping of he him and he them. This became a learned behavior, a pattern that was set, yet could be changed. If you continue to do what you have always done, you will be what you always have been. The world that you create will be viewed by what you have always done. All the patterns that you have followed or fallen into can shift as you move back to the image that God created you to be.
