Mary of Magdala finds Jesus only to be separated from him. When they meet again she has to convince him to allow her to study alongside him. They scrutinize ancient writings, investigate shamanistic practices, explore goddess religion, make a pilgrimage, participate in a festival of light, and learn with masters. They train to become healers, control the weather, and protect themselves from dark forces.
