All puzzles require only standard Sudoku solving rules: you will never need to guess when solving our samurai Sudoku, and all puzzles have a single solution that can be reached through the application of familiar sudoku-solving rules.
For those unfamiliar with the samurai Sudoku, we suggest taking a look at the preview to see how the concept of overlapping grids work: there are four shared box regions, with each outer puzzle sharing a box region with the middle grid, which therefore shares four of its box regions with the other puzzles. Paying attention to the overlapping regions is key to successfully solving samurai Sudoku puzzles.
