Sheldon's Adventure is a great coming of age story that follows the adventures of Sheldon the Turtle. He leaves home in search of a new shell; one that isn't so prickly and itchy. And in turn, he meets new friends and learns quite a lot about himself in the process. Maybe that shell is actually okay after all and all he needed was just needed a little time to grow up. He leaves home for the first time and travels all the way to the other end of the backyard in search of a new one. In the process, he meets a classical musician who also happens to be a cricket named Hank. A snake (water hose), and Nate an inflatable dragon. Sheldon's Adventure is a cute little rhyming story that teaches children self-esteem and feeling right in your own skin (shell!)
